Is clutter quietly creeping back into your life? We’re not just talking about your home—clutter can invade your phone, your agenda, your bag, and most importantly, your mind! It's time to take control, and we’re here to help.
Why Decluttering Matters
January is almost over, and for many, it’s been a whirlwind of stress. With New Year’s resolutions in full swing, people often aim to hit the gym, spend more quality time with their kids, or for the entrepreneurs, hit revenue targets. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when you want everything to happen immediately. But remember, we’re only at the beginning of 2025—there's still plenty of time to get organized and achieve your goals.
If you're finding it hard to keep up with your daily actions toward your goals, you're not alone. It’s perfectly normal to have off days. However, getting organized can significantly ease your journey. Organization is often the starting point for many life improvements, like saving money or eating healthier. It all begins with tracking and planning. Similarly, managing your time better starts with organizing your day-to-day life.

Our 30-Day Decluttering Challenge
To help you kickstart your year with a fresh perspective, we’re launching a 30-day decluttering challenge. Each day, you’ll tackle a small, manageable task designed to bring order and peace into your life.
The challenge kicks off this Wednesday, with daily exercises shared through our Instagram stories. Below are the tasks for the first week to give you a head start:
Day 1: Clear Out Your Closet
This might take an entire day, but it’s a rewarding way to begin. Go through your wardrobe piece by piece. Ask yourself if each item sparks joy or if you’ve forgotten about it. Organize your clothes by color or category to create a more harmonious space.
Day 2: Full Bag Pull
Let’s tackle that handbag clutter! Empty out everything—receipts, gum, hairbands—you name it. This task offers immediate satisfaction and can reduce anxiety. Share your bag's contents with us on social media and tag @osoehome!
Day 3: Toss Old Socks
Did you skip this during the closet clean-out? Now’s the time! Get rid of socks with holes, faded colors, or those that have lost their partners. Treat yourself to some new pairs.
Day 4: Phone Clean-Up
This is a task we all tend to postpone. Go through your apps and delete those you haven’t used in months. Adjust your notification settings to minimize distractions. For an added touch, organize your apps by folders or color.
Day 5: Purse Declutter
Even if you mostly use your phone for payments, it’s time to sort through your purse. Remove unused loyalty cards and foreign coins. Consider using a digital app like Stocard to store your cards.
Day 6: Gratitude Day
Today, pause the decluttering and focus on gratitude. List five people who mean the most to you and what you admire about them. Send them a message to brighten their day.
Day 7: Self-Admiration
We’re often quicker to admire others than ourselves. Write down your achievements, strengths, and what makes you unique. Reflecting on your qualities can boost your confidence and self-worth.
Stay Tuned for More
Next week, we’ll continue with another set of decluttering tasks. We’re excited to see your progress! Share your journey by tagging us @osoehome on Instagram.
Good luck, and let’s make 2025 your most organized year yet!
